Leanne is the best Yoga teacher I have ever had. I've been practising yoga for years here and overseas. Before practising with Leanne Yoga was just one kind of physical exercise however with Leanne my whole body is recharged and my spirit is refilled. I don't feel like I'm in a rush and let go through each breath. I have learnt my practise is not about what you can do that it is an infinite journey itself. I always look forward to attending her classes, if your a beginner or experienced Yogi I highly recommend attending Leanne's classes.
Practising with Leanne has been a truly transformative experience for me, her calm, encouraging and knowledgable approach creates space where you feel comfortable supported and inspired. She explains each posture with clarity and patience ensuring we understand not just the how but the why. We never feel rushed or pressured just gently guided at the pace that suits our individual abilities.. Thanks to her nurturing guidance we have noticed real improvements not only in our strength and flexibility but in our overall wellbeing..

My Yoga Journey
My yoga journey began many years ago, inspired by my mother who practised at home long before yoga became popular. For her, it was a way of life a source of healing and grounding. I had no idea that many years later, yoga would become such an integral part of my own life.
Through raising a young family, building a business with my husband, renovating homes, living in multiple countries, studying hairdressing through a cancer journey and graduating, caring for and saying goodbye to elderly parents yoga has been my anchor. It has kept me grounded, helping me feel better, think clearer, let go with grace, and approach life with more kindness and purpose.
Yoga has taught me to slow down, savour simple pleasures, calm overactive thoughts, and find clarity, peace, and gratitude. While other forms of exercise offered only one dimension, yoga gave me the whole package a complete mind-body-spirit practice.
For me, yoga is about reconnecting inward, listening to what my body needs, and embracing the balance between meditation, breathwork, and movement. It’s about building strength and longevity in a kind and caring way, and creating space for purpose, focus, and bliss.
I am deeply grateful for decades of personal practice and over 15 years of teaching experience, as well as the many wonderful teachers who have shared their wisdom with me through trainings, retreats, workshops, and masterclasses in Sydney and overseas. Yoga is a gift I’m honoured to pass on to others, so they too can experience its many layers of healing, connection, and joy.
I truly love the immediate connection that blooms within a yoga community it lifts us all, especially on days when we might not have much in our tanks. There’s a magical shift in energy from the moment people arrive for practice to the light, bright, peaceful energy they carry out into the world, especially in the midst of a busy city.
It’s a reminder that your light shines upon others.
I cherish seeing the dedication of yogis who commit to their practice, leading with kindness, understanding, and love for themselves. I witness people learning to listen to their bodies, honouring their current abilities, and confidently modifying when needed.
I see the beauty of slow, conscious movement, breath, guiding each transition as strength and mobility grow. I see presence. I see peace. I see the connection between body, mind, and spirit, and the rediscovery of inner calm.
My hope is to offer every student a chance to reconnect with their true self, to brighten their inner light, and to provide simple tools for navigating the daily stresses of life.
Remember, what you have to offer yourself and others today is enough.

Leanne's Yoga class is just what I need for flexibility and strength, her class is unhurried and has options for all abilities. Every week we try something new and concentrate on different parts of the body. It is relaxing yet invigorating. Leanne is very knowledgeable about poses and her voice is lovely and calming, afterwards I feel like my body is lighter, well stretched and my mind feels peaceful. Leanne has a beautiful friendly personality and cares very much about everyone in her class and I look forward to my Yoga classes with her.
My wife Preeti and I have been regular yoga practitioners at Crunch Chatswood since 2017. Over the years we have had many instructors some truly excellent with deep technical of poses and alignment, but something changed when Leanne became our teacher. Our understanding of Yoga has deepened in ways we did not expect, Leanne brings a rare perspective one that goes far beyond perfecting poses. She encourages us to approach our practise with presence and intention. She takes the time to learn everyone's names no small feat with over 40 regulars and gently reminds us to slow down and connect inward. One of Leanne's lines which really stuck with us "yoga is a work in, not a work out". That simple phrase sums up the shift we have felt in her classes to rediscover what yoga can truly be.
I have been taking Yoga classes with Leanne for a year now, starting as a complete beginner. From the very beginning she has been incredibly patient and supportive. She genuinely cares about the class and takes the time to connect with everyone individually. Her warm and attentive teaching style creates a welcoming and peaceful environment. After every class I feel a deep sense of calm and inner peace, she goes beyond just physical poses, she teaches the true essence of Yoga connecting with self awareness, learning to surrender and practicing self care. Her guidance has helped me grow not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I'm so grateful to have found her class.

Each class stands beautifully on its own but attending regularly feels like a journey building week by week deepening your understanding and exploring new postures with confidence. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
I am so grateful that I have found Leanne, not only as a Yoga instructor but a person/friend. Leanne is such a beautiful and loving soul. What strikes me most was her one on one connection, I cannot forget the day I was a bit down and after class she specifically spared time to talk to me and gave me a big hug filled with reassurance and that showed her compassionate and gentle healing nature. Leanne helps people grow with ease not only in their Yoga postures but also aid to internal healing and transformation, I think that is what Yoga is about finding the balance of mind and body internally connecting within recognising ourselves being aware of our bodies and surroundings through yogic poses, external transformation is just a by product. Leanne is an awesome teacher who carries a magical touch that leaves an impression on everyone's lives who attends her classes. She is there to guide you through your journey of Yoga with patience and care. I highly recommend Leanne to anyone in search of an exceptionally knowledgeable, calm and caring Yoga teacher.
